What Our Clients Say
General Questions
Countertop pricing depends on material, square footage, edge profile, and complexity of the installation. As a general guide: Entry-level quartz starts around $50-70/sq ft installed, mid-range materials run $70-100/sq ft, and premium materials (exotic granite, quartzite, marble) can range from $100-200+/sq ft. We provide detailed quotes during your consultation.
The countertop process typically takes 2-3 weeks from template to installation. Templating occurs after your cabinets are installed (usually 1-2 days). Fabrication takes 7-10 business days. Installation is typically completed in one day for most kitchens.
Yes! For natural stone (granite, marble, quartzite), we highly recommend visiting our supplier's slab yard to hand-select your exact slabs. This ensures you see the full pattern and approve the material before fabrication. For quartz, samples accurately represent the final product since engineered stone is consistent.
It depends on the material. Quartz does not require sealing. Granite should be sealed once a year. Marble needs more frequent sealing (every 3-6 months). Quartzite should be sealed annually. We provide care instructions specific to your material choice.
Granite and quartzite are highly heat-resistant and can handle hot pots in most cases. Quartz can be damaged by extreme heat—always use trivets or hot pads. Marble can withstand heat but we recommend trivets to avoid any risk. When in doubt, use a trivet!
Our countertop quotes typically include: material (slabs), fabrication (cutting, edging, polishing), standard sink cutout, faucet holes, installation, and sealing (for natural stone). Upgrades like premium edge profiles, additional cutouts, or cooktop cutouts may have additional charges. We itemize everything in your quote.
Yes, we can install new countertops on existing cabinets as long as the cabinets are in good structural condition. We'll assess your current cabinets during the consultation. If they need reinforcement or adjustment, we'll let you know before proceeding.
Yes, removal and disposal of existing countertops can be included in your project. There's typically an additional charge for this service, which we'll include in your quote if needed.
